things you learn
I've only been flitting thru lj for 2 years & i've finally worked out how to keep tabs on stuff i like. okay so sometimes I skew boy for reading manuals.
So yesterday I turned into the salad queen. 3 different types plus a make your own variety. went overboard just a little (only catering for 9 people) Bbq was fun, lots of chat. And the background was the top 500 from VH1. oh the way to make us all feel old. oh and to learn that all the guys had a thing about Samantha Fox; gosh! who would have thought.
So today rather than going to the Dendy for the Met Opera production (feeling unwell) I spent part of the day watching the rest of the top 500.
I am so shallow.
I loved listening to all the bright bubbly pop. Danced around the living room to the Spice Girls, Brittany, Pink, Kylie etc. Okay so i know lots of the other stuff as well and sang my lungs out - lucky neighbours. Must get more music. AND play it more often.
