A good day
Today has been a good day.
I burned two cds and then went out into the world (with dad) to get applications. Found out Circuit City apps are online (bummer), so I went to Barnes and Noble to see what new manga is in. Almost as soon as I get to the manga shelves, I'm interrupted by Helpful Guy (aka Alexander, but I always forget his name so I call him Helpful Guy. He calls me Luka O__o). Helpful Guy is just that: Helpful. Sometimes overbearingly so. He always seems to want to be very helpful, especially for cute girls in the manga aisle. He's very easy to be friends with.
Anyways, so at some point he reminded me that there's a small manga display at the back of the store near the bathrooms, so I went to check it out. Lo and behold, what do I see but a abso-fucking-lutely gorgeous Loveless cardboard display. I was so twitterpated! O__O And then a truly devious thought struck me (I'm not prone to those); Go and ask Helpful Guy about it. So I did. And now my name's on it, and there's a very good chance it will be mine!
And that's not the end! Very shortly after, whilst looking through the Monster Manual III and my dad was looking through the For Dummies books, Helpful Guy approached us again, trying to be helpful (or flirt...whatever). Dad mentions we should go and that we need to find me a job. Helpful Guy suggests applying there, and I told him I have before, but nothing has come about because of it. He tells me to bring back in an app and a resume during the time he's there and he'll write me up a recommendation. ^_________^ I don't care if he's a freaky, flirty, helpful guy. I need a job!
Oh, and I got Death Note vol. 2. ^^
