I was pulled over by the police this morning. It was just regular checkup, they checked my license and sent me on my way. It second time it happened to me, in the same place. First time, I was driving barely for two weeks, so I was rather nervous, since I wasn't sure that I didn't break any rules.
Although police presence was rather heavy today, they are probably on alert, with Independence day coming next week. There is already a lot of white-and-blue everywhere.
Today I saw something really horrible on my way to launch. Me and my female friend were rendered speechless by outfit of one young woman. Pity we had no male control around to compare our impressions. The girl was wearing some weird skirt, it was diamond-shaped, with points of the diamond in front and back, while on sides it was pulled up, exposing most of her thighs. It looked really out of place and totally not sexy. But it wasn't the worst part of it. She also was wearing fishnet stockings, with really, really, and I mean really, large holes (around 10 cm wide). She looked like really cheap whore (sorry, girls :)) It looked really out of place among all these business suits, and really tasteless.
Heh, yesterday I drove to gym, and only when I was there I realized that I didn't take any documents with me, no id, no license, no papers for my car. And on my way to gym I pass that point where police often check cars (like this morning). I was lucky they weren't there that day. Although police usually is nice, they stopped my uncle without documents once, he had to drive one of them to his home, and once he showed his documents, they let him go just with short lecture. But still, better not to tempt fate.
