1. 5 things/places in the world you’d like to visit/see and why.

The first thing that pops into my head? England. I've always really wanted to go, mainly because I'm fascinated by the political system, and also because there's such a rich history, so much of which influenced the birth of my own country. The best part about that? In about a month and a half, I'm going to be going to Oxford University as a one year exchange student for my junior year of college. So. Excited.

I'd also like to go to Sweden, mainly because part of my ancestry is Swedish, and honestly? I really look it. I'd kind of like to see if I could blend in so long as I didn't open my mouth.

The Middle East. I'm also a Politcal Science major, and, goodness, this area of the world is just fascinating. I'd love to be able to talk with people there, get a better understanding of their culture. Right now, I feel like I'm limited, because I can only view their country and the workings of it through my own cultural lens, and, in my opinion, I think that, as long as that's the case, I'll never be able to truly understand the foundations of why things happen there as they do.

Hawaii, though my reasons are kind of shallow. It's got amazing beaches. You can ride horses on the beaches. It's gorgeous. Yeah, that's about it.

This last one is kind of more than one place, but it all sort of goes together: I'd like to visit the places where some of my ancestors came from. In other words, I'd like to trace back to the towns where they lived, and I'd like to go there (that'd mean places in England, Sweden, and France).

2. What’s the best book you’ve read in the last 2-3 years?

Considering I'm an English major, that's a difficult question--I've read a lot of books in the last 2-3 years. Sometimes, a book isn't enjoyable, but I might find the content of it absolutely lifechanging (those are usually the books that break my heart with their unhappy endings...). So, "best" is a bit of a hard thing to determine: does that mean my most enjoyed book or most valuable one? Anyway, probably my answer would have to be Gilead, because that book does a bit of both of those: it's an enjoyable read, but it truly made me consider a lot of things about life.

3. What are you’re top 3 movies?

Any of the Star Wars movies.
     Sherlock Holmes
     Brothers

4. 5 songs you would recommend everyone to listen to

I'm Still Here by Vertical Horizon
Wherever You Will Go by The Calling
     Wonderful by Everclear
     Augustine by Vienna Teng
If I Die Young by The Band Perry

5. What’s the main thing you want to see in Merlin season 4?

A magic reveal. Seriously, it's about time Arthur found out. Right now, having him not knowing is just making him look like an oblivious idiot who's too self-centered to notice anything about anyone else.
