Actually, he's got something in his hands/on his lap that may indicate that he might have left the room for a little bit today (except it's not entirely complete, as the butterfly is only partly there). His eyes look a little distant even as he's concentrating on what he's doing

[blinks a few times before smiling a little] Y-you did?

Well... I wanted to come see if either of you was awake. And I haven't seen you as much, so it's good that it's you.

I'm... sorry I haven't been around so much. [bites his lip, hesitating a moment before setting the blanket aside carefully and holding his arms out to him]

(climbs into his lap and hugs him) It's okay...

(snuggles) What were you doing before I got here?

Hm? Oh... I was just adding something to... [shifts enough so he can grab the blanket, careful of the needle, moving it so Asch can see] I thought... maybe she'd like a butterfly on it.

...I think she'd like that. It would make it even better than it is now...
