[After having his fun with some of the residents of Zelore, Alexei has retreated to the town's library. Here, he can at least think more clearly and deal with his own personal problems. He was seated near the window, book open and watching the people move about outside. Every once in a while, his left hand was subconsciously stroking his chest area

[...Okay, seriously, what's the chance of Alexei being in the library at the same time as Duke for once? It's gotta be pretty damn low...

...E-erm, anyways, what's he doing? Well, right now, he's standing in front of one of the shelves, seemingly looking for something specific... and eventually, he's going to take the book labeled "Forbidden Weapon and their Effects on the User". I think he's trying to find out more about that Fell Arm of his... hm. He hasn't noticed Alexei yet, though that might change pretty soon~]

[Alexei hasn't taken notice of Duke either. Not right away anyway. He had a glazed over look, watching people moving about outside.]

[You're in a public library, Alexei. What'd you expect? Anyways... Alexei's presence has been noted by Duke by now. How do I know that? Well...

...for starters, he just glanced in Alexei's direction for a moment. In addition to that, he's... kind of holding the book in a way that would leave Alexei unable to see its title now. Huh. He's not actually saying anything yet, though... guess he's not in the mood to initiate a conversation. :| ]

[...it's a squinting contest with these two. Alexei's spacing out okay? That book he's carrying though, he's certainly taking good care of hiding the title from him. He can assume...something to do with the Fell Arm maybe since he just recently got one] Doing a little bit of research?

[...And now Duke's glancing away, trying to avoid eye contact. Huh.]

...Correct. [He is the kind of person who enjoys learning about things... although that's usually by seeing them or having them explained to him by, say, one of the Entelexeia. Him reading something written by humans instead is... well... rare, to say the least.]

...Find anything useful? This library has quite a collection of books that I've ever seen. Even things about the other worlds. [is it obvious, this is the first time Alexei has been in this library?]

Yes. [Why do you think he bothered to take that book with him, Alexei? Geez. ...And, yep, it's pretty obvious. Not that Duke's been here before either. :| ]

[sighs] You're just full of information in conversations. [sarcastic much? As he looks down at the book he was reading]

[Ignoring that comment. ...And now that book caught his attention. Subject change time!]

...What are you reading? [It's probably not fiction, at least. Alexei doesn't really seem like the kind of person who'd be interested in that. Hm...]

...Reading about fonons, source of energy in a world known as Auldrant.

...I see. [Sounds like fonons are similar to aer, to some extent. May have to read about that a little... later. That book he's got with him right now takes priority for now, though.]

[his mind's currently on energy conversion as he reads more about fonons] The fonons come in various forms, split into seven to be exact. Somewhat of a complex system, really.

[And Duke will just... stand here and listen for a while. It is an interesting subject... though chances are he's going to start reading that book of his once he loses interest. Which may or may not take a while, but eh.]

Hmm, seems like each of the fonons are named after the elements they represent.

Efreet the fifth fonon of fire, Gnome the second fonon of earth, Rem the sixth fonon of light, and then there's the theoretical seventh fonon of sound, Lorelei. Scientist have yet to confirm whether it exist or not but it seems to represent the arte of healing. [oh dear, he seems to be engrossed by what he has learned from the book now]
