Prepare for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the McNally Robinson-Downtown Calgary Harry Potter Family Street Festival on Diagon Alley Friday, July 20 - 10:00 p.m. - 12:15 a.m.
Stephen Avenue Walk Downtown between Centre St. & 1st St. S.W.
Muggles of all ages are invited to come down to this FREE, family-friendly festival to enjoy:
Spooky & spectacular circus acts by Velocity Motion Werks; Defence Against the Dark Arts, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures & Transfiguration Classes; Magical crafts, enchanting music, ghastly treats & creepy performers! Special appearances by key characters. Costume judging & Harry Potter trivia contests!
The evening will also include Art for Muggles at the Art Gallery of Calgary (117 - 8th Ave. S.W.), a drop-in family event. Explore the magic of art by making a mask of transfiguration, then draw an invisible map to your favourite secret place. You can keep it secret or reveal its location with your magic wand!
Muggle parents can rest assured that McNally Robinson and partners are taking every precaution to ensure this event is both fun and safe for everyone.
