Been working lots, WoWing lots. But I wanted to share this artist, been listening to them since I got up.
The Singletons is like... good, fun rock 'n roll. Foreign band, but it's a familiar sort of garage-band sound; you can feel a TON of old-school rock bands in their songs, and new ones, but they're still original. "Finalist Song" is this enjoyable amalgamation of Weezer and "Free Bird" - seriously. "You Want Make Me Down" has an awesome surf guitar background and interlude.
I recommend "Once Upon a Time" (track 1), "You Want Make Me Down" (2), and "Change My Mind" (4) especially. You can download the whole album for free at Jamendo.
