So i just got home from the beach.
It was fun.
I caught 4 tuna, and a half of a bonita.
(shark got the other half)
Im pretty burnt.
my nose looks like a tomato.
one of those little ones they put in salads.
not the big normal sized ones.
that would be crazy.
people would think i was jewish.
I played alot of PSP on the ride to and fro.
man, that tony hawk feller sure can make himself a game.
In lag time i also downed some mountain dews and pepsis.
(im a coke man myself, but they are giving away free Xbox's so i would be losing money if i didnt take the chance)
ooooo i got gummy bears too.
I listened to some mp3 player too.
I listened to Copeland on the way back.
(beneath medicine tree, not this new crap)
It reminded me of the beta club convention.
That was actually alot of fun.
I miss Parkway and the Parkway kids.
I need to visit here soon.
So the new tottally cool band is Waking Ashland.
They are what i like to call, wicked.
Here, check them out:
http://www.toothandnail.com/downloads/wakingashland/wakingashland_iamfoyou_hi.wmv so when did music start to suck?
I mean, some really really good bands just suck now.
Motion City Soundtrack put out "commit this to memory" which is a record that sounds like one big long sucky song.
Copeland put out "In Motion" and i only listened to that thing once and never pushed play again.
Then Daphne loves derby tottally changes us their sound and the new full length is horrible.
Now im afraid because i freaking have a death cab for cutie ringtone on my phone.
They were on the cover of 6 magazines last month.
im serious, im not making it up, i counted.
they were Time Magazine's hot new artists of the month.
And then the other night, i hear Mae on the radio.
the same mae that nobody knew about.
The same mae that when people read my shirts they would say, "hey man, your shirt is spelled wrong, its May with a Y"
but whatever.
So do you ever look at the stars and just ponder?
(do you ever use the word ponder?)
You know, when you look at stars, you see the light that is produced from big balls of gas constantly burning.
Those starts are billions and billions of miles away, and it takes light years to travel from them to us.
so when we look at the stars, we actually see the star as it was years ago.
it makes you think.
If there are millions of stars, then there must be some that we dont see because they are so far away and their light hasnt reached us yet.
if this is true, then in a million years will there be twice as many stars in the sky?
did adam and eve see stars?
did some stars start showing up all in a short time.
and if so, were people like, "wow, what the hell is happening?"
Okay, im gonna enter to win me one of those Xbox's and hit the sack.
NOTE: this post was mainly result of some car-ride contemplation. please keep in mind that this was mostly just past talk, but they present is still present. Im still me, im still in love with molly finley and miss her, and im still a 4.0 student. lol, you know im not conceited, just joshin.
