an out-of-body experience...
I will start and finish this post with beauty, because chihana11 inspired me to do it.
OWLentina is a bit out of control, so this needs to be posted on her journal too, so she can go wild a little.
Because OWLentina remembered the out-of-body experience in St. Petersburg in the Winter Palace where she saw an entire hall in malachite.
This is my absolute most favourite semi-precious stone of all the precious and the non-precious stones. There is nothing "semi" about it. And what is its greatest attraction/beauty - besides the indescribable shades of green? Yes. The flaws. The unpredictable patterns. The variables in shapes, sizes and its consistent inconsistency. The only thing constant about it is its mesmerizing beauty. At least I think so. But hey, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, right?

And last but not least: something beautiful, that I hope I will be able to see somewhere in the journal of the talented minesomine, as the avatar of one of her beautiful scaled birdses I love so much in "The Connections".
