National Abolition Hall of Fame plea

Jul 17, 2010 00:29

I"m reposting this to bed for help from everyone on my F-List.

My brother Jon is the VP of the National Abolition Hall of Fame. He's passionate about getting this grant from Pepsi to improve the Museum, put in an elevator, and begin national outreach programs. Voting was strong early in the month, but this week seems to have taken a nose-dive.

Anyone who can Signal Boost this, and help us out, will be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure what I can promise you other than undying gratitude, but I can promise at least that much.

If the video doesn't appear, please go to www.refresheverything.com/nahofm to view it, and to vote.

Here's my earlier post about it:

I know I mentioned it back at the beginning of the month, but I'm going to mention it again.  The National Abolition Hall of Fame is trying to get a Pepsi grant to expand the Museum in Peterboro, NY and create an outreach / equality program called "I Am Me."  Right now, they're lingering at about #85 in the standings, and need to get up into the Top Ten, if not the Top Two, by the end of the month.

Here's the video they produced about the Museum and the grant:

Please go here and vote every day for the rest of the month:  http://www.refresheverything.com/nahofm

If you'd like a daily reminder to vote, send an email to nahofm@gmail.com and the project coordinator will add you and send you nice reminders (non-harassing, I promise!)
