Long Goofy Survey/Quiz Thingie
I haven't posted here in way too long, so I thought I'd get back in the swing of things by answering the questions on this long quiz-type thing I lifted bodily from Steeldream's journal. People will be tagged at the end of this, so yes, there will be a quiz at the end. Hee hee hee.
1. The phone rings. Who do you want it to be?
Easier to say who I don't want to hear from. I'd love to hear from Dean, who fell off my radar about three years ago. I'm more than a little worried about what happened to him.
2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?
It depends on how much of a hurry I'm in at the time.
3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?
I'll start out listening, just to get the feel of the situation, then I'll start talking.
4. Do you take compliments well?
Sometimes. Depends on who's giving them.
5. Are you an active person?
If that means exercise, no. The last time I bought walking shoes, a Concerned Party told me I should look for some that include a feature where they kick me in the ass and make me go walking.
6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive?
Possibly. I've read two or three survival manuals in the course of doing research.
7. Do you like to ride horses?
Not really.
8. Did you ever go to camp as a kid?
Yes. With relatives I wasn't fond of. Not the best way to start off.

Monopoly. That was one of the few times a lot of my family was all together at once.

Deaf. I can't live without my eyes.

Constantly. If I'm awake I'm either reading or writing unless I have some task that can't be avoided.

The present. The past is dead weight, the future scares the hell out of me, and I have way too much to cope with right now in the present.

I won't be able to answer that until I've done all the traveling I want to do. At the moment, I'd say in the Caribbean.

10 or 15 years.

Home, vehicle #1, vehicle #2, the filing cabinet, the safe, my luggage, and a few extra from previous homes.

Purple

From the kitchen to the back bedroom.

Lower back.

Mixed with horseradish!

Eat.

I look like my father's side of the family. When I was a baby, I looked so much like my paternal grandmother you could lay our baby photos side by side and people couldn't tell the difference.

As long as I damn well please, since it's one of the few places where I have something close to total privacy.

Not unless they involve bananas.

More movies starring Japanese actor Koichi Sato. I thought he was terrific in "When the Last Sword is Drawn."
