I haven't posted here in several years, but wanted to post in order to touch base with anyone who is still out there. Stop by and say hi if you see this.
I finally finished my novel, Weeping Women Springs this summer and put it through the Kindle Scout program. It wasn't selected but the process was good and I believe the campaign I ran helped at least get my name out there.
I've toyed with the idea of submitting to agents, but am tending toward self publishing it. From all my work as an editor at small ebook presses and my interaction with clients etc., I feel that self publishing may be the best way to go. It also allows me to use the small noise I made during the Kindle Scout campaign.
All told, I'm excited about this next step in my journey.
