Hope your 2011 has had an awesome beginning. Ours did.
We received word a short while ago that my boyfriend's short film "Lest We Forget" is an official selection at the Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City on Feb 9. How cool! I'm so proud of him. This is the world premier of the 8 minute documentary showing forgotten soldiers and what happens to them after their service. The festival calls it an ode, which delighted my poet's heart, but mystified the scientist he is. They nailed it with that description I thought.
So, there you go. It will be so exciting to be part of the action at the film festival where the past two years we participated as volunteers and press.
