I'm glad you're back and feeling better! We all lose enthusiasm from time-to-time, and it's nice to take a break :)
Shit. Holy shit. Tampering with genetics? That's seriously messed up.
That's a good way of putting grief and doubt and self-blame; "engulfed in chains" is a nice way of putting it.
There's so much raw emotion in this- the scene between Calen and Duncan is full of it. Ugh, it's heartbreaking. Perhaps in the future they'll begin to mend things again…
Oh wow. This really IS an important step for Calen. A mature one, but a huge one, too. I don't know what to feel about Liam, either…
I'm glad Darcy is finally being the person she wants to be, or deserves to be. Their life is going to be so sweet!
I think you did pretty well with purity, struggling to survive in an impure world! Honestly, your portrayal of it couldn't be more perfect- especially at the end. What could be more pure about the life they've made for themselves? It has pure intention and it's lovely, in my opinion.
I can't wait to see what you're going to do with the next generation! 'Healing' sounds difficult to put in emotional terms, but I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job :)
Thanks Hun, it's strange all of a sudden I just feel so motivated to write again, to the point where I think of plots while at work. I've not done that for the entire 2 years that I've worked XD
Yeah, dunno where the idea came from, but it's pretty dark in my head anyway XD
I'm glad you think that, I wasn't sure if the line was overused during all media, but hey, if you liked it I'm happy.
I didn't know if I was going the right direction with Duncan and Calen...but when I teleported Calen over, Duncan pulled the 'angry' face, so I took it as a sign....it's not the last we'll see of him though!
The two of them together really are sweet, and surprisingly responsible too.
Thank you hun, I can't believe how much I struggled/worried about this generation.
