Settling for Ramen
holy crap could the week get any worse? really?
It's been one of those weeks where I think that if I were able to just crawl under a rock and hang a sign that said 'Tell Me When It's Over' I would have. One thing after another has made me ready to just scream and throw a tantrum!
First over the weekend I was sick and tired and not able to barely function, which brought my on line work to a screaming halt. On Sunday we had rasvi over and that was great, and we played but things were totally weird since baby and I had a lot of stuff that was in the middle of working out and Rasvi just walked into the middle of it all. but that was cool, we played and watched anime and had some yummyum food. But the whole time we were counting pennies and trying to work out how we were going to pay bills and not think about the concert we were supposed to be at and hadn't been able to get tickets for.
then it was just one computer diaster after another for 2 days until it finally just up and died, refusing to restart at all. After 6 hours of fruitless attempts to get the damned thing to work and still longer attempts to figure out why it wouldn't we came to the sad conclusion that the only options left to us were to A) send it to best buy and have the geek squad try to fix it but end up with them having to wipe it and start fresh or B) take a deep breath and hit the restore factory image button and pray that worked.
We have a working compy now but we lost EVERYTHING that was saved on our main drive. Anime, music, pics, the whole mess and to top it all off, the writing. *weeping*
Most of our fics are someplace that we can find them but the 22 chapters of our novel are gone and hopefully we can find a printed copy someplace around here and just have to re-type them. I am so disdraught and have been flailing about and weeping. I am not sure what to do or how to get this evil mojo off us but I am about to have an excorsism or something!
OH and of course, we have been fighting with Patty all week to clean his dump of a room and take a shower and all the usual crap that he wants to be a bitch about. No fun and nothing getting done. Blah!
And some how that hidieous Syesha is still on AI and I am about to scream and throw things. Oh well, it's all fixed anyway. Dirty bastards getting me interested.
Okay well now, I am off to work and make some money. hopefully, this is going to be the end of all this and we can get our mess back in order.
