it doesn't get stranger

i dreamed that i was dating a headless girl;
there was no blood or gore, she just didn't have a head.
all my friends pointed this out to me, and complained about her fashion sense.
all i could do was shrug and say, "but she's so sweet".
"but she doesn't have a head!"
"yeah, but if you knew her..."

she had gentle hands,
and she liked to hug me from behind.
one day she walked out of the bathroom and she finally had a head.

and i exclaimed, "i knew you were gorgeous!"
