I've been kinda sad lately because one of my favorite attorneys died this week. So, last night I had to go shopping from something appropriate to wear to the wake and funeral. Of course the hubby wouldn't let me buy him a new sport coat; "I have three in my closet." Well, let's see; we bought one when he first started working at Hoppe Printing over 10 years ago; then there's the one that we bought when we went on our Alaskan cruise; and then there's the one we bought when nonstudios and solvingmypuzzle got married. The first one was just a little snug; losing another 20 pounds and it would fit. The second one fit OK but it was just a tad too big. The third one. . . OMG . . . it was HUGE! He looked like a little boy trying on his dad's sport coat. We laughed so hard because he look funny in it.
There are days when we think, "I feel so fat." You know you've lost weight but some days it just doesn't seem like it. Then you pull something out of your closet and try it on and you say "OMG! I was really fat before."
The laugh did us both some good. They say laughter is the best medicine for what ails you. I happen to agree.
death,
chc,
weight loss,
laughter
