Noises In The Night
So last night while trying to go to sleep the hubby and I here three rapid loud noises. It sounded like gunfire but we still have people in the neighborhood shooting off fireworks. Then a few minutes later there are a lot of sirens. OK. Maybe there was an accident nearby. I get to work and read in the paper that a man was shot and killed about six blocks from our house. It was gunfire we heard and the police were not going to an accident scene but a shooting scene. I guess we guessed right the first time.
