Music in the Zoo
I love concerts at the Zoo. Last night we saw Chris Isaak at the Minnesota Zoo. It was great. He's such a good performer and entertaining. He told jokes and was just entertaining. He wore some outrageous suits. The first one was pink with sparkles all over it. The second one was a suit made of small mirrors. I think he likes dressing that way just for the reaction he gets from the audience.
Saturday we go to see Joe Bonamassa at the Zoo. We saw him last year and we got rained on. I hope we don't get rained on this time.
Next month we go and see Tab Benoit at Cabooze. I've never seen a concert there before so it will be a new experience.
I getting to really like concerts in these small venues. One it's cheaper and it's just more fun.
My life this summer has been busy. I'm actually busy at work. We go to the gym two to three nights a week and the weekends are for yard work and fun things. I'm getting tired. I think I need a vacation. What I really need is to take a few weeks off work and really get some work done at home. We need to a complete overhaul of our lives and get rid of a lot of crap that we have been accumulating.
I guess it's time to get back to the grind.
