ZZZZ

Today was to my liking.

I woke up early somehow ( I went to bed late.. World of Warcraft to blame ) and tried to get back on WoW but the servers were still down for maintence so I looked up some info on tanning and abdominal regiments. Both came up very scant, oddly.

So I went outside and tanned, and I played with the little dog that always comes to visit.

When it got time to leave for the awards dinner I realized I could not find my tie. Which I didn't know how to tie. It seems like everytime I go to an event like this something goes wrong. Very strange. So I went to Dillards and bought the same 40 dollar tie again o.O I really hope the old one turns up so I can return it, ha.

The dinner was okay. There was a mystery meat... don't know if it was fish or chicken. The actual program was very long, and one old fart felt the need to talk about his academic escapades with Thomas Edison. I tuned him out after a while. I also decided forks need thumbs. It was a rational decision reached through small talk with Bree. Forks are obviously the western eating subsitute for hands, but they only have four prongs, fingers. Where is the opposable thumb? There will be a petition signed to fix this.

Bree got a really cool award. I don't think the pictures I took will come out well, but maybe Photoshop can save them. They're very dark. Someone had their finger on the flash when they snaped the pictures :X

Afterwards I talked to Bree for hours in the parking lot which I enjoyed. I am very happy to be hanging out with her again. I missed sharing things with her.

And I'm glad we went to that event. I'm glad she asked me to come.

And I like wearing suits! I wanna collect ties... useless things. I love them so.

On the way home I started thinking about Dragon Ball Z and Naruto. In the case of DBZ, I really like Vegeta. He's the typical bad to the bone villain who turns good during the series and suddenly is a lot less powerful when he turns good. If you watch enough TV shows, especially anime or even American Cartoons, you'll notice that all villains get a lot weaker when they become good guys. This probably occurs naturally b/c villians, even if they're a single villian, has to be a challenge for the team of good guys so it's dramatic, but once they turn good they don't need to be so powerful because then it would no longer be dramatic. Right? Well, I like how DBZ ran with that theme regarding Vegeta's pride. He's a Prince, and he's arrogant. And although he's always been naturally strong, he's worked hard too. So later in the show he has to deal with facing the fact that he's not the strongest around. It's good stuff.

With Naruto, I'm really hoping Sasuke beats his brother. Alone, though. I'm told it's foreshadowed that Naruto and Sasuke will join forces, which is pretty believable of course. I mean they're friends and they are/were a team. But part of me would like to see Naruto step back and let Sasuke do this alone. I think it would be growth for both characters. I don't know, but I think it would be growth for Naruto to allow Sasuke to deal with his ordeal alone and not try to show that's he's the best or try to prove anything. Just let Sasuke do what he has to do. At any rate, even though I have so much of the show to see, I'm excited thinking about the confrontation that will come.

Once I got home I realized me and Bree didn't even take a picture together. We were all dressed up and I thought it would be a shame to not get a quick photo so I went back. I mean, if I didn't there was no telling when I'd have a tie on right again.

I'm pretty sure I had more things to say but my brain is trying to close all programs and shut down.
