Guess what? That's the first time I've read an excerpt of it. Somehow our course of Russian literature didn't include this.

Did you read Nekrassov's small poems? Or just no Nekrassov at all?

Some poems, not much of them. There were lots of other poets and, frankly, I've found the others more interesting so I didn't read more of Nekrasov's on my own.

"Зелёный шум" могу рекомендовать прочитать. Целиком, желательно, не только описание природы для младших школьников.
