Sorry, I'm just going to rant and things....
"I never realized not having a job could be sooo boring..... I am so depressed... actually I have been for the past 7 months really ever since i got back from Japan... Money has been the root of this problem...when I got back i just couldn't get myself stable! I was just making money to pay bills and late fees...I couldn't even buy food...(atleast I lost 30 pounds in the process! ahah!) whatever I did I just couldn't fix it....almost got evicted twice for lateness...couldn't start paying my college bills and such...found out I couldn't really live in japan without my degree which I just couldn't see myself going through another year of school during the fourth one...it just all fell apart...atleast I had a rather fun job to go to, to take my mind off of my major slump!!! I'm the type of person who doesn't show sadness or depression...it's just not me...but deep down it was hurting me...arrrghghgh! living on my own sucked my life away!!!! I haven't been proper drawing for awhile! (haha I said proper....I watch too much big brother UK)
but.... I moved in with my parents about a month ago...left my fun job, have no friends, haven't done any cons, and now am a bum....but though that is the case and the fact that MI has a very high unemplyment rate, I am really excited! I have decided to go back for my final year of school! I'm just hoping I can get into one! I really slumped off my last semester of school because i really thought I was never going back! but my Japan goal has really got me back in the game and excited about the possibility of finishing school! So here's to getting into my school of choice! I hope I can transfer on my credits and get into their art department, they also have japanese courses which i am really excited about! ここからがんばります!
I guess i can talk about some stuff that I have been doing since i haven't been on here, I have been slowly studing Japanese...not hardcore like when I was going but just a little a day. Planning on taking the 4Kyuu this december to see if I can get beginner certified! I can't wait!
I've been listening to all kinds of Japanese music...it's crazy how much I listen too....haha! Angela Aki is the shiz if you don't know her and you like a really nice pretty voice then she is for you! Her music always has piano in it because she plays it...man she is awesome! she came to freakin' chicago when I went to Toronto! I was miffed! I didn't know about it at all! I've been following her ever since her second single came out at the beginning of the month and I have to say her music really hits me in a good way! Some may say her music is all too similar but i don't think so! check her out!
My fav songs/recommendations at the moment:
Angela Aki - kiss me goodbye (will never fade I think! It's been out for awhile now....and she has released a new single and an album but I still listen to this song everyday! Her new Album is pretty good too! Music is a great song as well)
AAA- Kimono Jet Girl: (fun jazzy song, listening to it on repeat right now. AAA is growing on me since hallelujah )
Bonnie Pink: Perfect Sky (nice summery song kinda R&By)
Perfume - Electro World (wow! they are really hyper music! It's really nice Techno girly voices! haha)
Abe Natsumi - The Stress (H!P is really coming out with some different music, and apparently this is a remake...suits her well enough and is funky)
Koda Kumi - 4 hot wave (4 solid songs....she has got to be dieing with all these PV's and such...4 new ones in like 2 weeks time....haha she is a power house. Juicy is my favorite.)
Tommy Heavenly 6 - Pray ( liked this better than you make me wanna scream nice pop rock song.)
Hamasaki Ayumi - Beautiful Fighters (I am not a big fan or Ayumi but this song just really sounded nice! I like it.)
Youna - Te wo Tsunaide (wow this girls voice is really nice, very nice lite rock song!)"
Went to Canada before I came to Mich...it was fun, yet there was one thing that wasn't right...we went to a Japanese karaoke bar and it was closing...so we looked for another and went there...we were standing outside looking for the building...well, we did and it was a hallway of just stairs leading to a door and a painting of 2 people kissing. Tada the guy me and my friend were with rang the bell even though we felt a little weirded out about it and we were let in....we went up the stairs to find a man asking us if we had a reservation...and that it was a private club....hrrrrmmm...no.....he then proceded to tell us that we are suppossed to chose a girl and pay her for staying with us in our private Karaoke box.....hrrrm again...we decided we didnt' want to stay! So as we were leaving the guy said we could stay and use one of their rooms free of charge since we were out just looking for a place to sing and drink...then the manager comes in saying we need to pay them fifty bucks each to stay there...and we bail....haha...that was a strange and seedy experience...toronto was fun otherwise....
well I guess i let out what I wanted to....off to go and find a job and drop off some more apps.....
