Woke up this morning after a full night's sleep (YAAS) with a very strange dream still lingering in my head. This is probably something won't care much about but it does give me an excuse to post something. Anyway, parts I remember, there was this giant, 'natural' mech type battle going on between some kind of invading force and 'Earth'. Not 'Oh, Godzilla will save us' kind of battle against Earth. More like, one of the mecha (and they weren't really mecha either, I'm just describing it like that for lack of a better comparison) was the friggin' Earth. Earth is getting its ass kicked and looked like it's down for the count when it absorbs...I believe it was some kind of woodland creature, possibly a monkey, and then got some neat jazz added onto it, coming back to kick the other thing's ass.
According to the dream dictionary I found, a planet means creativity or some kind of adventure.
Then later in the dream, I was in this house that kind of seemed like it was in...some mountain state or other, but not in the mountains themselves. Weren't near the coast so that's the only reason I don't say California automatically. I think it might have been a cousins house in Utah or Wyoming I've been in all of once. Anyway, don't remember much of what happened there but I do remember hanging out a lot with this one bearded guy, about as tall as me. Stuff happens I don't remember, then it's like midnight (in the dream) and he takes me into the bathroom and says to look under the sink. There's all kinds of gifts there and I find the one with my name on it. It feels like a book and I'm fairly certain of what the book was. Anyway, that's all I remember about that part.
According to the dream dictionary, to receive a gift denotes your great fortune in luck and love (man, I wish). To receive a gift means you're being rewarded for a job well done and are held in high esteem by those around you.
Blah, blah, blah, went to what was basically a water garden Home Depot center / water garden museuem. Garden means something about nurturing and tranquility and water means (which was clear water) symbolizes being in tune with my spirituality and further denotes serenity, peace of mind and rejuvenation.
More stuff happens and then there are two, tiny-ass pink dogs (yes, no fur at all) that are biting and tearing at this baby bag thing through a window screen...and I yell at them to get the hell outta there. Now, I should mention that, for whatever reason, I knew the dogs were male and female. Dream dictionary: pink is about love and stuff, a dog can represent a skill I may have lost or forgotten but need to recall (AMEN dream! I really do need to remember how to get my mack on) and yelling at them represented repressed anger that needed to be expressed.
In conclusion, who knew that dreams could be so...well, helpful! Not only are they fun to have most times but if'n you look them over and maybe analyze them, you might just feel like you've had a free session on the couch. But I'm pretty sure Freud would have shit a brick if he tried to analyze a giant mecha representing the Earth which then absorbed a monkey and won the battle. He might have asked where I kept my stash after recovering though ^_^
