So apparently Sir Ian McKellen, as well as James McAvoy,
thinks that Magneto and Professor X should have been a couple. DYING OF CUTE BRB.
Although, it does sort of make me really, I dunno, self-conscious of writing "Utopia," since Utopia is so bleak and clearly Erik and Charles deserve all good things in the world. I mean, I won't stop writing Utopia, because I started writing it for the story and not the eventual, totally-going-to-happen-this-time sex (it's all planned out, and involves lots of really technical names for muscles), but... I should write something cute at some point too.
Which probably doesn't include a sequel to "Waiting Games" in the definition, but damn it, I have all these images in my head of how it would go! also it would totally be in present tense because I am finding that all of my First Class fic tries to re-write itself as present no matter what
For now though I should focus on winding down. I really need to stop posting fic updates around midnight, because then I get nervous and check my e-mail constantly and at least if I do it during one of those hours when people are actually awake then I don't need to sleep with my phone by my head so that I can check it in the middle of the night.
Hope my air conditioner doesn't start spitting out ice again tonight. That's always a drag, even aside from the fact that it doesn't circulate into my room all that well.
Oh! Finally got some of my house chores done. Well, did my dishes, at least. X-Men fanfic is still my primary obligation at this point I guess, although I've been making a point to actually spend time with the boytoy and, while doing so, talk about things other than fanfic. Although I do like that he'll occasionally throw in a "I want you to work on your original stories, because I need to know what happens next!"
Speaking of, writing all this First Class fanfic has not only bolstered my confidence in my writing (which I almost never reveal to anyone), but also my general ability to write quickly. In the past two weeks or so I've already written just as much as I did during my fiction class throughout last semester, just as well. Awwww yeah.
Although, I'll miss having people actually read and comment on my stories once I go back to writing the book. :(
