Sadly he is not here.

"Sponge-chan" is a TV personality that is basically a talk sea sponge with gap teeth and a pocket protector. It's something that theorhetically people shouldn't like because there's no point to his existing inside his own show, but it's very popular.

Ah, and that explains why I do not know of this Sponge-chan. I've never owned a television. And this sounds like the sort of mindless drivel which makes me rather proud of that fact.

In their defense, not all the young people in this place were misbehaving. And most of the ones who were still were old enough to know better.

All the same, I am rather glad that in a few more days I will be officially an adult and won't have to be categorized with them anymore.

Indeed. The things these puppies get up to! Back in my day we were much more well behaved.

Likewise in my day. Part of that came from having a father in the church. But it was more due to the fact that he wasn't afraid to use the belt if we acted up.
