#221; day is done, gone the sun
March camp was insanely tiring- I think at the end of it JWWHY were all just so tired, but knowing that the guides have enjoyed themselves is the most amazing kind of affirmation.
It came as a sudden realization that this is the last time that B11atch will ever be attending March Camp again together, and during batch talk, it was so good to see how we were all so comfortable with one another. It took us 3 years to get to this point, and I know that it's probably impossible to ever see the batch like this again. No matter what, it's great to see how every single one of us putting in the greatest effort for our last year, and to achieve all our goals.
It passed so fast- we've been waiting for these three days for months, and when it came, it came almost too fast. Some parts were disappointing- not firelighting outdoors for one, but nonetheless it was the best March Camp I've ever had.
Having the Sri Aman guides join us was really really meaningful- it makes us realize the extent of how Guiding is worldwide. Regardless of how we're from different countries, Guiding still remains the same in some ways. It just doesn't change no matter where you go, and that's the most impactful way you can convey the message. The impromptu school tour that Han Jun and I ended up doing was kind of awkward, but yet there's a little pride in us that they are so interested in our school.
Even though Campfire was kind of dead at the beginning, it got really really good at the end and I think every one of us were sad that it had to end. It was kind of messy, what with Guides Own in the middle of it, but still I think that the candles really made everything more meaningful. (Your money went to do use, little monster :D) And then there was peixuan's impromptu birthday celebrations that had us bursting into random songs so as to drag it on hahahaha
Night surprise had yinyu and I exhausted from running around and climbing stairs, pausing the movie and making last minute changes, but the best part was sitting in the classroom, waiting for the Guides and eating up the watermelon and sleeping during the movie. (:
Kiseki after the camp was great too hahahahaha I think Ms Lee is thoroughly horrified and the way we eat.
Thank you for the past three days. It's been amazing and I never will forget it.
