We found out today that my dad is going to Mobile, Alabama
on Tuesday, until June and they're letting
him come home the weekend before I leave to say goodbye
and to go to my brother's graduation in June.
I don't know what that makes me teary-eyed when I know
I'm not going to be here either.
Maybe I don't want to leave my mom alone? Even though
my brother's here.
Maybe I feel safer knowing I have my family all happy in one place?
I don't know.
But this opportunity could lead to new things for everyone.
So I can't complain.
It's just weird though. He hasn't been on business trips like this since
I was very young.
