And it snowed
It snowed Monday here. I woke up and saw all the snow! And it was still snowing when I had to go into work in the morning. It was rather slow going driving in it.
Snow is odd in a way, because looking at it brings a strange feeling of hushness even when you are inside. Like the whole world is hushed in whiteness. It felt like that, that morning. I am fond of waking up and surprisingly seeing snow on the ground and covering up things. I think this goes back to childhood when things were simpler, like the first snow. No worries, or thoughts of what trouble it can be. Just a feeling of wonder and potential fun. It is still there in the back of my mind, even though I now think...oh no, snow! >_< Where did fall go? And I think about all of the problems this season brings in winters past.
And the snow sticked to the trees rather prettily, I have to admit.. It still is, because of the cold and the snow not melting. The first snow can be lovely to look at, but ask me in a few weeks if it is so lovely still when it is grey and dull and dirty.
