CAH, Lego, and Judgment

The last couple of weekends have been quite fun. Last weekend we had our friends Lindsay and Janice over for an evening of great conversation, and Cards Against Humanity. We didn’t end up start playing until late because we were enjoying the conversation so much, but we had a blast and laughed our asses off.

I had recently purchased Judgment and Lost Judgment as they were on sale. I didn’t know much about the games, other than they were set in the Yakuza game universe. That was enough to pique my interest, and I’m really glad I picked them up. I bought a bunch of other games too, but I’ve had a hard time breaking away from the fantastic story in Judgment.

I also spent some time working on my Guardian’s Lego set, and got a good bit done.

This weekend we ended up getting together with our friends Karen and Byron for an equally engaging evening of conversation and Cards Against Humanity. We started out the evening with dinner from Fry, a Korean fried chicken restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Ottawa area. That was followed by a laugh inducing game of CAH before we headed home.

I also managed to finish my Guardians ship, though I still need to find a good place to get decent pictures of it. I’m very pleased with the way it turned out. It was enough fun that I want more Lego to work on now.
