Question for my crafty friends
As some of you know, I've been trying to get my grandmother's spinning wheel repaired for some time now. One of our good friends is working on it, but at best it'll most likely still be a display model.
Randomly, my parents announced that they want to get me a new wheel for my birthday: specifically Kromski Fantasia. But they wanted to run it by me first, in case there was another style or brand in the same price range that was superior.
To which I went: "Buh?"
And then ran to the Internets. Because I know absolutely jack and squat about the quality of spinning wheels made in the last, oh, century or so. So I'm asking all y'all spinners what wheels you recommend or that I should avoid at all costs?
