Reso-Roomba-lutions
1. I'm damned and determined, now, to get a cheap wireless webcam and strap it to the top of the Roomba. Neither of the cams we have in the house at the moment is capable of any such thing, so I'm up for suggestions. The only one I know of offhand is the X-10, and I refuse to buy one because of their marketing strategies.
2. jconstantine helped me just name the Roomba (because it DOES need a name, most certainly). It's now named "...DAWSON!" (complete with punctuation). For backstory on that, you need to read the "Girls' Bike Club" essays done by Sars, which makes it doubly appropriate, since she's the one who inspired me to buy it to begin with. The joke doesn't come in until episode 4, but you really need to read from the beginning to get the full humor of it all.
