Faces of Love

Here is the next in the Faces of Love series.  For me it was a more light hearted piece than I generally tend to write,  and was for a bit of fun with words.  Thank you for the great comments I have received for both this series and the Zodiac.  All the others so far can be found in my Memories.

The Common Denominator

When the circumstances of my life
don't add up;
When two minus one equals
zero;
When my troubles are multiplied
by our long division;
And the benefits derived from
drawing breath are fractional;
I try to remember that
love is the equation that
makes two halves a whole.

Love adds meaning to life
by multiplying life by itself
to find the square root of
eternity.

The common denominator.
