MAGIC CHILD

With elf-like smile and twinkling faerie feet
you danced into my life.

Magic child, I've seen your face in green glens,
peering out from leaves, shimmering in
bewitching brooks.

Magic child, child of my heart,
enchanted changeling,
come to bless me,
a sparkling crystal jewel
in my solemnity.
