Well, I guess this is an improvement.

[Maka's got her outfit back, and is feeling pretty badass. Even going as far as forgetting for a second that she's still without a means to escape this goddamned town. In any case, she's on her porch, sort of itching to do something.]

Everyone's... basically okay from what happened last, right?

[A pause.] You got your clothes back?

A lot of people have been getting their clothes back first.

Actually, I got my ability to see souls back first. It hasn't really been doing me much good, though.

It's helpful for locations, for me, mostly. At least right now.

But considering this town is pretty small, and everyone's usually at their houses anyway, it's not a very big deal.

It's not like I'm probing into anyone's consciousness or anything.

. . . I see. It sounds like there's a whole variety of powers in this town. I've never heard of anything relating to souls before, anyway.
