Eventually he gets the video function working, sets the communicator down in front of him, then notices it's upside-down and rights it. Hey there, Barge. Here's Merlin's room, and....a face unaccustomed to public address.]

A few things have started coming back to me. Just in flashes, like I'm remembering a dream, but...I think I must have been here before. Claire, did we know each other?

[Did he do something to hurt you and forget about it D:]

[There's a long silence. He's really straining to remember something, anything, because Claire's clearly upset by him having forgotten her. Then, abruptly:]

Oh! You gave me chocolate! I can't even remember what that is but you did, didn't you?

I remember! I mean, not everything, but I remember how it snowed like this last winter, and the presents and the Christmas party, and -

[And now, slight emo.]

[Boo Merlin blames himself for this.]
