Lot of new people, this last week. Still getting used to people moving in like this - we had all sorts of visitors back home, but people'd come and go. or get executed, or turn out to be sorcerers bent on the destruction of Camelot, or
But it's good! I mean, you might not think so if you're an Inmate, but being here's better than being...er, dead. So well done on not being dead. That came out well. And the new Wardens - Max and Selene, right? Hi. I'm Merlin.
Also, quick question - how come I never see any Wardens in the showers? Is there a schedule thing that I don't know about? Don't mean to get on anyone's nerves.
[Private to the Marquis]
Hi. Um, I know we've never spoken before, so -- well, hello.
I should probably tell you...I had a chat with this new Abbé bloke when he first arrived. And...it was me who told him that you were here and a Warden. I don't know if that was related to what happened to you but I feel like it might have been and I think there must have been something I could have done better but...I didn't mean to stick my nose in, is what I'm trying to say. He asked, and I didn't know he'd take it as badly as he did...
So...er. Yeah. I'm sorry. Are you all right? This coming-back-from-the-dead thing is a bit
[Private to Ethan]
Hi, Ethan.
Wanted to apologise for our last meeting. I was a bit of a prat. I know you've been an Inmate for ages, but I've only been your Warden for a few days and it's not like there's any way to learn how to do this besides....well, doing it. But I think I was doing it wrong, and I don't want that to bugger things up forever. I'm sorry.
Want to meet up somewhere, have a chat? No Inmatey-Wardeny type stuff. Just a chat. Probably not in the pub.
[OOC: Obviously, Merlin predates indoor plumbing, so he's been using the Inmates' showers and is just pleased he doesn't have to heat up his own water. :| ]
