Greg talked to his aunt last night who is not Catholic either but still attends a Christian church. I think Greg was definitely encouraged by talking to her and though I know she wants to stay neutral in this, at least she agrees with our side of things. His aunt said that it's really sad all that his mom's putting us through. Hopefully Greg and I can meet up with her this weekend just to get some advice from someone in his family who also thinks his mother is being ridiculous.
I'll keep everyone updated on the situation with Greg's family... hopefully we can meet with the pastor soon. His mom really is too crazy to listen to reason though - she's been trying to get Greg to read her books on the end times and the one she has that has convinced her he's in a cult because of the way he's been acting. What she refuses to understand is that Greg converting away from the Catholic church and him not wanting to argue over the wedding date every second are two completely seperate things. I don't know what will finally convince his mother to calm down about things. All Greg and I can do is pray and try not to let her false accusations and all the hurtful untrue things she's spreading around to everyone about us affect our happiness.
Class in Virginia has been pretty boring, but I made some cool new friends and went out and had fun a couple of nights. I get to come home tomorrow though, yay! Also, I've been off of coffee for a full week and I've been feeling surprisingly more consistently energetic throughout the day. That's about all the info I have for now. Hope to see everyone from back home soon!
