I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but oh well.
crossover drabble-athon
I know there's been a buttload of drabble-athons lately, and I've really been enjoying them, so I wanted to host one of my own! But this one has a twist, you can only write drabbles about crossover pairings or just general crossover fics

They've been at McClaren's for about three hours now and the British chippy is still laughing, in quite an obnoxious and loud tone that's very unlady-like and not at all refined as she always thought the English to be, at every lame joke Barney tells her. Granted, she's on her third rum and coke and her boyfriend, (partner, friend, whatever he is) stopped trying to win her attention back a while ago. Robin has to shield her eyes from the reflection of light coming off the annoying girl's teeth and switches her gaze to the douche who calls himself "The Doctor".
She's been watching him on and off, and he's been pretty entertaining so far. At first, he tries to sit back in the cramped booth, arm slung over the back, legs stretched out and crossed, taking a chug of his beer every now and then like a regular dude. It's the most awkward thing she's every seen, and finally she watches him give up, set his beer to the side, and pull out something she at first thinks is a weapon but he assures her it's a simple "sonic device". When he says nonchalantly that he would never carry a weapon, in the middle of ducking underneath the table to fix the shaky base, she rolls her eyes because apparently this guy is a pacifist and that's really going to annoy the fuck out of her.
It's when she sees Barney's hand on the blond's thigh and the Doctor hits his head on the table, sending her beer flying into her lap that she decides the night is over. She pulls Barney out of the bar by his ear and to a cab as he whines about being this close to getting that British coming. Robin tells him that doesn't make any sense but high fives him when he holds up his hand anyway.
