Nothing like waiting six months to get the last word in. Thank god 2007 is over. It seems this year was a disappointment for a lot of us. However, even though the bad always outweigh the good in a situation like this, we realize that there were some good parts.

Eye tour felt like the longest two weeks known to man while it was happening, but after sitting down and watching "Easy Rider" with my father the other day, i've realized that we saw some of the most amazing places in one trip. We're lucky to have done that and lived to tell the tales.

Also, if nothing else fails, you always have your friends. And whether you've lied to them for the past couple months or haven't seen them in a while, things can still work between you. I'm not disappointed in anyone. I'm not even shocked. We're grown ups now, and we must fix our own problems. You're a big girl, i know that you will find yourself and make this work. I believe in that, above all.

We make our own messes and we must clean up the remains. And even though 2007 was the year that we were no longer teenagers, it seems that 2008 holds more than just that. We're becoming real adults, with schedules and plans and even larger problems than just who i'm going to sleep with. Now we're placing our hearts in the real world and seeing where we'll end up. And though graduating is looking further and further away for most of us, some of us will be forced to find what we've been looking for since high school. Real jobs, real friends, and even more, real futures.

Here's to 2008! Let's hope that it works the magic better than 2007 did.
