+ Working at Retail Job has given me a newfound respect for two things: 1) intellectual stimulation, and 2) sitting. I thought that being braindead for most of the day would be no big deal, seeing as I am braindead while lazing around the house anyway, but ... yeah. I'm thankful that I'm still going to school right now, even if that means homework, because working my brain at least two nights a week is helping me stay sane (and less depressed, a feeling that has been hanging a bit heavily over me lately). Also, standing all day sucks. I realize this is pretty common knowledge, but it bears repeating. *thumbs down*
+ Happy belated Halloween! Some of my friends and I went to a haunted house the night before the big day and had a good time scaring the crap out of ourselves. I am not a haunted house kind of gal--nor are any of my friends--and people in masks chasing after us with chainsaws while rasping that we'd better run for our lives has not really changed my opinion. Nonetheless, I'm glad we went. It was fun, in a masochistic, pants-shitting sort of way. And then we carved pumpkins! \o/
