One day I'll be productive with real-life things! One day.
This weekend, I:
- watched The Dark Knight (awesome stuff, would've been awesomer if the lady sitting next to me wasn't feeding her toddler/yelling at said toddler during most of the movie), the first half of the finale of Doctor Who, two episodes of Torchwood, Act 3 of Dr. Horrible, I Am Legend, and Spiderman 3;
- read some really excellent Batman Begins fic (anyone have any other recs for Nolan movieverse Batman fic?);
- saw the Morning Light, the Cab, and the Hush Sound in concert at the House of Blues;
- wrote a piddling amount of my heroes_bigboom fic that's due in 11 days. *weep*
I FINALLY finished writing the first chapter of that^ fic, and it came in at around 5,300w. Which means I need to write way more than the 10,000w minimum for the challenge. Which means that I need to average more than 1,000w a day to complete a rough draft on time. Oh dear Jesus. I suppose I should start admitting to myself that I won't finish this thing by August 1. :(
