GUNDAM DOUBLE-OH EM GEE!
Watched the first two episodes of the Gundam 00 dub on SciFi channel. It's.
OH MY STARS. NO. JUST NO.
What did they do, snag all the voice actors from Inuyasha, Death Note, and Ōban Star-Racers that they could? Was it a contest of some sort? Although Setsuna was amusing, what with the Death Note connection (Miyano Mamoru/Brad Swaile = Yagami Raito!).
Voices in particular that I dislike (since my first inclination is to list EVERYONE): Sergei Smirnov (Why he not so manly?), Allelujah Haptism (Not gentle enough! I wonder how bad Hallelujah will sound. THEY HAD BETTER NOT HAVE SOMEONE ELSE VOICE HALLELUJAH, EITHER!), Sumeragi Lee Noriega (Did they deepen her voice to even out with the not-so-manly tone Sergei has?), Lockon Stratos (Of course. It's not HORRIBLE...unless you compare to the sex-god voice that Miki-san has.), Graham Aker (Just. No.), Billy Katagiri (WTF MIROKU?!), Louise Halevy (Louise-chan is supposed to sound more girly - and, yeah, kinda ditzy - in season one. This would be more appropriate with her character in season two.), and Hong Long (NOOOO~!).
Wow. I pretty much DID list nearly everyone that's been introduced so far. And I know fear that it will only get worse. *is waiting for whatever travesty will become of Tieria's infamous "Ore wa...boku wa...watashi wa..." line*
And so, I leave off my bitching and moaning with this question.
