(no subject)
I can take classes again!!! The lady at the registrar's office took the hold off and now I'm taking Microeconomics. I really wanted to take Basic Marketing Concepts, but the Marketing department apparently doesn't know what's going on and couldn't figure out how to put me in the class. I think one class will be good at least, so I can see how I manage with it and full time work, etc. I'm excited! =) AAAANNND the school pays for up to 2 classes, so I'm taking it for free! =)
On another note, my boss (who I played tenor sax with me in Tallahassee Winds) and Dr. Shellahamer (director of Tallahassee Winds) figured out who I am and now I'm obligated to do Tally Winds again. So much so that my boss let me borrow his mouthpiece until I can get my own concert mouthpiece. Hopefully this year will be better than last year. Of course, we played the whole Lord of the Rings suite last year, so not a whole lot can top that at the moment for me in there at the moment.
New job is going well so far. It's pretty easy to pick up, but I'm constantly learning new things (unfortunately the hard way in some cases) so yay. It's not the bookstore and that's the super important part. I'm a little lonely because I've been by myself for most of the time, but little by little I think it'll get better. (However, I miss the bookstore people terribly cuz they'z be awesome peoples). I'm nervous about tomorrow with school starting because apparently it gets really busy, but I think I'll be okay.
Well that's it for the moment as for catching you guys up on me. I'm basically just trying to get by until I figure out what I want to do with my life. Of course, I've been trying to figure that out now for the past year and a half, so yeah...hopefully I'll have a better idea this time. or something. Lata playaz.
