MERlin.
Okay so the news/reminder (I...like most of us, it seems, had forgotten what they used to say about the number of seasons) about this being the last season of Merlin kind of breaks my heart. I have loved this show to death since it's start. I used to ignore homework and get three hours of sleep a night because I read fic and it's where I first branched out and started talking to fandom people and making fandom friends instead of just lurking. And I know that's like stupidly sentimental but still. And like, there is so much SO MUCH more I want to have happen in the show that I don't think can happen in just five remaining episodes. Sob sob sob sob.
Anyway.
Um, so I don't listen to the radio and don't get much exposure to a lot of overplayed pop music, so I'm often like months behind on the music scene and while everyone else is at the point of like, "omg if I have to hear this song one more time I'm going to punch the wall," I'm usually at the point of, "omg have you heard this new song yet?"
So this is one of those songs. But "Some Nights" by Fun just became my new favorite song tonight. I watched the video and nearly cried. Also the lead's voice is kind of awesome and amazing. Also, it's just kind of an awesome and amazing song.
