Here's why I was reluctant: Christian Kane kind of scares me. Lol. He's just really brawny and is always beating people up in the roles he plays. And he has a really angry face! I mean, he smiles nicely, but all the other times, he's like, "Grrrr!" with his face. Specifically his eyebrows.
So yes, I had a very shallow reason for being a little wishy-washy about it. But then I watched it. And it's amazing! It's fun, and funny, and makes me want to be a thief. I love the characters and how much the team is just really a family. And sure, Christian Kane's character is still basically just around to beat people up, but he has good chemistry with Hardison and Parker that balances out the beating-up stuff. I love how all the characters are kind of a little crazy, and Nate is just really long-suffering about it but he just loves them all and takes care of them.
One of the things I was surprised with on the show was it's humor. I think I always just assumed that the show was in-your-face action and drama, and while it definitely has drama, and action is one of it's main components, it's layered with so much humor.
(Haha, that promo makes it look like all srsbsns - except with Parker flies off the roof.)
