we went to jen's today.
and it was beautiful.
i think it was because for the first time in a longtime, it was like the old times.
we just sat around watched a movie, played some PS, and chilled outside.
one of the most perfect moments was when we were out on her street. Jen had hooked up a stereo so that it would play for us outside. So i danced like i was free from everything. As Jen was teaching Ani to skate, Lil and i sat on the front of some car and it was just an awesome moment. I looked up at the sky and the clouds were moving like they always should. The air was a bit chill, but the atmosphere was even chiller. We all kind of regrouped to sit on some strangers front steps and just sat. The crisp air started to get to me and i mentioned that we should go inside. I ran ahead of them. When i was inside, i stood by the door and watched them through the curtain. It's hard to explain, but as i stood there, i saw my friends walking in the steet towards Jen's house, and it was the perfect moment, and they were the perfect people. I couldn't help but smile, so i didn't. Lil looked at me and thought i had locked the door, and that my incessantgrin, was one of "in your face" haha. but it wasn't. it was the happiest i've felt in a while. I thanked God for it in Jen's kitchen.
