(no subject)
Everybody who is in university and has been studying abroad is leaving or they have already left.
Which means no more American friends over here.
Im counting down the days to leave... though I know when I do leave it'll be bitter sweet.
Going from Athens to London, and then back to Athens is going to be another culture shock.
I'm stoked though. I've seen a lot of great bands here, and still have a few more shows that I'm going to catch before I leave.
Things I wont miss: Marmite cashews, smoked salmon, anything with sweet corn, Day Nurse/Night Nurse, motherfuckingtransportation, and Willesden Green.
Things I will miss: the art scene, the museums, the bands, the architecture, the people I've met, and Boonaburra Shiraz at the Wilton Arms Pub in Knightsbridge (shit fucks you up and I dont understand how considering I can down a bottle of wine and be tipsy these days).
I'm seeing Metric in a week, The Gossip in two weeks, Lissy Trullie (again) in 3 weeks, and hopefully Florence and the Machine in 4.
I leave in 6 weeks.
