i think i've been having a Poe withdrawl. so i'm listening to her right now.
i've decided that i'm not going to do that weird smiley thing for my art self-portrait. i'm going to do something from HoL.

golden FUCKING apple!!!
i just yelled @ anna for not understand the concept of the golden apple. i want to be crouching and like...holding something. then i was like "how cool would it be if i was holding a golden apple? like willy wonka........or something." but yeah, it's sort of hard to come up w/ a HoL inspired-background. i was thinking i could do the spiral staircase with some poe lyrics falling down it. or i could be sitting on the floor in Zampano's room with the little etch in the floor. OHHHHH how awesome would that be? and it'd have his fridge filled with books and everything would be filled with books and then outside of his window would be all those creepy cats that he had, and then there'd be the Strip and all the stores and all. i dunno, she suggested i do the 5 1/2 minute hallway but, that'd be weird and out of context. It'd be nice to have something from the actual house though. i would be cool if i could do the house like, opening up @ the end of the book and swallowing tom, but that'd be weird. but yeah, i feel better now that i have a more concrete idea.
