I forgot to add, the reason why it pissed me off was b/c I hate the whole "I can't afford to not buy stuff on the day after thanksgiving." it makes NO SENSE b/c you don't really have to buy anything at all, you can find much better ways to show your love, and then you wouldn't have to spend any money at all. since when is asking people to not buy stuff on one day breaking their bank? the whole thing is that the day after thanksgiving, you buy a lot of shit that you don't need to buy along with presents that you may have bought anyways, but it definitely gets you to buy bullshit you don't need (i.e., my friend's purchase of a bust of thomas jefferson). that's my rant. I didn't wanna get the person mad by being upset about it. I just don't like seeing ignorance in an adbusters community of all places.
